The music theory segment, lasting half an hour, breaks down complex concepts into digestible parts in a fun way, which has significantly enhanced my daughter’s understanding of music.

My son had a desire: to learn to play the piano, but no one in the family does that. So we found Core studios, wonderful professionals who teach with love. My son loves the classes and I can see his development each week.

The unique blend of theory group classes and individual practical privates has enabled my child to grasp the skills at a rapid rate, as he is consolidating his understanding through dual coding and explicit instruction.

Knowledge is power.
As teachers, we understand that music theory is the foundation of everything. However, we recognise how challenging it can be to help students understand it thoroughly.
Core Studios Sydney prioritises making theory lessons enjoyable for our students and their friends. We follow the AMEB examination syllabus, and our lesson plans aim to incorporate exciting collaboration activities to help students learn these fundamentals. Theory can be fun.
REFINE
One-on-one tutoring session.
This time is devoted to music technique instruction, examination preparation, and performance preparation. Our experienced teachers assist with the practical elements of learning our instruments. We have two programmes: a Primer programme that teaches our students learn the fundamentals of music and then an Endeavour programme that follows the AMEB and Rock School examination curriculum.
FOSTER
Our group lessons are designed to create a space for children to love music. As we grow together, play together we begin to learn to love music together. It's all about having the right people alongside you in your musical journey.
PERFORM
We host two concerts each year and encourage all of our students to perform on stage. Our purpose is to empower and instil confidence in our students so that they can succeed at all levels. We believe that music can be used to help raise strong, resilient children who believe in themselves.
